Our friend R. Winston Guthrie’s book “A Taste for Absinthe” arrives at book stores Tuesday, Sept. 21. He was kind enough to send me an advanced copy. It’s a collection of 65 absinthe cocktail recipes compiled from  mixmasters and bartenders nationwide. It also includes a brief history of absinthe, how to tell real absinthe from fake absinthe, some absinthe reviews and much more.
