Review:
Very interesting brew. My first experience with Absinthe, and I have to say I enjoy it! Strong licorice flavor with a bitter follow, it seems to be more enjoyable each time. I employed the "french" ritual, and may have added a little extra sugar and water, and found it to be quite good. I normally drink bourbon, and would caution a novice to stop with 3 drinks maximum, to avoid a hangover that might spoil the experience. Am looking forward to more...

Got a bottle of the strong68 a week or two back. It was sharred amongst 3, we almost finished it. All three of us are what most would consider heavy drinkers. It didn't take long to realize that the buzz comming over me was not that of normal booze. It seemed to be a much more driven and clear headed/focused intoxication, familiar to absintheurs. The taste was aquired, same for any strong drink, but easily ajustable by the amount of water. I haven't had lots of different brands of absinthe yet, so I won't give a taste/quality report, but as a avid drinker, I enjoyed it a lot. In the end I would have to say it was much better than any $50 American booze drinking experience (intox wise, nothing beats great scotch). All and all I was very satisfied and have already placed another order. Shipping was 6 days as advertised... bottle was safe...

have been enjoying Absinthe for about 2 years, now, and have tried 5 different brands, to date. This one is pretty bitter but, with 3 sugar cubes, it's not bad at all. I prefer to mix it 2: 1 with cold water, instead of the "traditional" 3: 1, so I'm sure that the higher concentration of Absinthe adds to the bitterness. However, I can easily chug this mixture in 2 gulps if I'm in a hurry…and to have more than 2 or 3 glasses, prepared thusly, is a waste. The bitterness aside, the wormwood effect is DEFINITELY stronger than in most of the other brands I have tried: a more "psychedelic" effect, akin to ingesting good Cannabis: a certain relaxed mellowness, yet, also, a noticeable clearheadedess and creative insight. I certainly have been inspired to compose music after drinking Absinthe. So, I guess I could say that The Green Fairy wears 2 garments: one made of Cannabis leaves; the other made of wormwood. All Blessings to The Green Fairy…and 'Alandia Strong68'!

Well, you get waht you pay for. A very, very strong Absinthe! After drinking m first glass, I felt a dizziness in my head. Not a bad feeling, but something changed in my head. It´s like smoking, drinking and flying at once. Definitely will get another glass tonight...Green Fairy, I´m coming...
