Strictly for amateurs. Bland, yet slightly chemical -- even furniture polishy - taste. Not even close to the better French or American versions. VERY green though!! LOL

Bairnsfather Bitter is great. My wife loves this one and will hide it so I can't have any. So now I order the triple pack. Its taste is marvelous, the louche is very suttle but if you put an ice cube in the bottom of the glass and then drip ice cold water over it, it louches white just enough. I will always buy it for my wife, Carla. Thank you Bairnsfather.

Really good stuff, excellent value for the price. taste is very good, I don't use any sugar, it's pretty sweet on its own, and not as bitter as the label would have you believe. No louche to speak of, but I personally don't care, I'm not a traditionalist when it comes to absinthe. I judge mostly on taste, and this one tastes good to me, definitley would buy again.
